About Us

 Jerad Napier was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas. Like most in the area, he grew up with a love of the shooting sports. Jerad found his love of teaching at a young age when he began teaching kids Tae Kwon Do classes. He joined the Air Force in July 2001 to be an aircraft mechanic. After 8 years in the Air Force and 4 more years as a government contractor, Jerad returned home to Northwest Arkansas.  Since moving back, Jerad has worked towards creating a path to combine his loves of teaching, shooting, and serving the community. This path has finally been realized with the creation of the Northwest Arkansas Shooting Academy.  Jerad is an NRA Certified Instructor (#252284245), and an Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry License Instructor (#19-1414).

Kitrina Napier is a long-time resident of Northwest Arkansas. She started her career in the hospitality industry with purveyors of specialty food and coffee. Her passion for interior design, pallet for the culinary arts, and gifted eye for detail led her to start her own successful business as an event coordinator and planner. She sold her business in 2013 to pursue other careers, eventually finding her calling in real estate. Kitrina continues her service to the community by teaching shooting fundamentals and CHCL courses.

Here at the Northwest Arkansas Shooting Academy, we are focused on teaching the community how to safely enjoy shooting sports and how to legally defend themselves. We offer a variety of classes geared towards a range of first-time pistol owners to experienced shooters.  We welcome all experience levels who wish to expand their firearm knowledge, learn to shoot better, and, most importantly, learn to shoot safely.

To teach students how to accurately and safely put rounds on target, how to protect themselves and their loved ones, and the legal aspects of having to do so.
